Abstract

Intracranial lipomas are rarely seen lesions. They have become detectable incidentally in patients without any neurological deficits thanks to the widespread use of CT and MRI methods. About 30-50 % of the intracranial lipomas are located in the pericallosal region. Fifty per cent of pericallosal lipomas are associated with dysplasia of corpus callosum. There are 2 radiological subtypes as curvilinear and tubulonodular lipomas. We report the clinical and radiological findings of a patient with curvilinear type pericallosal lipoma without any corpus callosum anomaly.
