Abstract

Disc herniation is a common disease, and arises in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar levels. However, spontaneous regression of herniated disc material is a rare case encountered during the conservative treatment. With the expanding use of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging, an increasing number of cases have been reported. Basically three different mechanisms were considered. In this article we present three cases of lumbar disc herniation which demonstrated spontaneous regression.
