Abstract

A case of unilateral traumatic ooclusion of the cervical internal carotid artery is reported.Computed tomography (CT), CT-angiography and digital subtraction angiography were used for the diagnosis and follow-up of the patient who was admitted to our department due to vehicle accident. Medical treatment was performed in this patient. Although the traumatic occlusion of the internal carotid artery is very rare, it has high incidence of mortality and morbidity.
