Abstract

Stab wound of the spinal cord is infrequently seen in the civilian population. When the knife penetrates directly to the spinal cord, incomplet spinal cord injury usually occurs. In this article, a case who had retained knife tip that traversed the spinal cord entirely without neurological deficit is presented. The mechanism and the management of such an injury are discussed in light of the literature.
