Intracranial aneurysm mimicking cerebral cavernous malformation

Objective
Vascular pathologies of the brain have different clinical presentations and neuroradiological appearances which allow to the definite diagnosis preoperatively.
Method/Results
We report a case of intracranial aneurysm presenting with epilepsy and unusual magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings which preoperatively diagnosed as cerebral cavernous malformation.
Conclusion
We highlight the possible mechanism of the unusual MRI appearance and differential diagnosis of the lesion.
